Made from 100% wool, with a double layer in the 'wet zone' to provide protection from leaks whilst maintaining the highest degree of breathability.

Wool is so popular because it is the MOST breathable natural fibre for baby to wear and the Most environmental (no polyester / plastic as found on other nappy covers!) and it is naturally anti-bacterial.

Wool wraps are great for night wear, when the nappy is on for much longer than during the day. If your baby sleeps all night, there is no need to change the nappy if he/she hasn't dirtied it.

You will need to "lanolise" the wool wrap before using it for the first time (and from time to time), which is a simple process of soaking the wool wrap in lukewarm water with some drops of pure lanolin (if the lanolin is in solid form, dissolve a small amount in boiling water) . After soaking it for about 4 hours (or preferably overnight), squeeze some of the water, roll the wrap on a towel to squezee the remaining water, dry it flat and it will be ready to be used. Lanolizing your wool wrap is what makes it waterproof. You can lanolise the wrap several times to start with to make absolutley sure that it is leakproof!
